If you teach first grade or have a child that age at home, these 10 ready-to-go games and activities can help them strengthen their math skills.

The first picture (bordered in red) is a collage of several of the 10 activities in this set. Then, the remaining pictures show all 10 items one at a time--close up, with a brief explanation of the activity. (Those explanation cards will be mailed to you with the rest of the items.)

Included in this set are the following lightly used items:

  • skip counting with lego towers -- for practicing counting by 2s (3 towers), counting by 10s (2 towers), counting by 5s (3 towers), and counting by 3s (2 towers)
  • even and odd sorting activity (laminated, 16 cards to sort, moon themed)
  • measurement comparison cards (dozens of laminated cards, helps kids practice non-standard measurement with common classroom items and manipulatives)
  • picture cards for practicing 3D shapes (laminated, dozens of cards)
  • mini-eraser graphing activity (includes different boards and all the corresponding erasers, not laminated so that can be used as a worksheet, kids found this to be very fun!)

  • even and odd sorting activity (laminated, 19 numbers to sort, dinosaur theme)
